I am Markiian Babiak, an undergraduate Computer Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University. I have been a part of the CIRCLE lab since October 2023, and I am working on various projects at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education(OISE). Right now, I am exploring my options in the field. Still, I am particularly interested in event organizing and management. I am a member of the Ukrainian scouting organization Plast and have been organizing different events and camps for more than 5 years. This experience and my personal interest align a lot with the lab’s goal for the care-centric use of Computer Science in education as well as strategies for active and interactive learning.

I look forward to exploring and challenging myself in the field of Computer Science.
