Atif Ahmad

Atif is a veteran in the technology and telecommunications industry. His journey began when he helped start up the first GSM telco, Mobilink, where he played a key role in the company’s rapid growth and the establishment of its IT department. From there, Atif moved to Canada, taking on the role of founder Chief Information Officer at Wind Mobile. Under his leadership, the company’s technology department thrived, ultimately contributing to Wind Mobile’s acquisition by Shaw Communications. Following the acquisition, Atif became the Head of Wireless BSS at Shaw, where he continued to drive technological innovation and support the growth of Freedom Mobile. His career later brought him to Saudi Telecom Company (stc), one of the leading telecom providers in the Middle East. There, Atif developed advanced technology strategies and led the creation of digital architecture for the group.

Alongside his professional accomplishments, Atif pursued a Master of Digital Media and is now working toward a Ph.D. focused on Artificial Intelligence’s ethical and educational aspects. With a passion for the intersection of technology, ethics, and education, Atif continues to help companies in their technology strategy and seek new opportunities for growth and innovation.
