Suzana studies digital simulations for ethics learning and critical computing education for social justice.
Hello, I'm Suzana Neves and I'm a Master of Computer Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University. My current research is in digital simulations for ethics learning in computer science and I presented at ACM SIGCSE 2025 and 2026, and AERA 2025.
I am deeply interested in critical computing education for social justice and human-centered uses of AI, particularly as they pertain to the lives and wellbeing of youth.
I have had a lifelong passion for the promise of HCI with a focus on the H and I look forward to a future where all technology is designed and developed for human flourishing.
