Biography

Hello, I'm Atif, and I've been navigating the ever-evolving world of technology and telecommunications for the better part of my career. I kickstarted my career at Mobilink, where I had the exciting opportunity to help set up the company from the ground up and play a crucial role in achieving remarkable year-over-year growth while helping lay the foundation of the IT department.

Professional Journey

My journey later led me to Canada, where I became Chief Information Officer at Wind Mobile and built a technology department that became a driving force behind the company's success, culminating in its acquisition by Shaw Communications. After the acquisition, I continued at Shaw Communications as Head of Wireless BSS, strengthening technology capabilities as Wind became Freedom. I later joined Saudi Telecom Company, where I was responsible for creating a forward-looking technology strategy, laying the foundation for Enterprise and Business Architecture, and leading the digital architecture creation for the group.

Academic Interlude

Driven by an interest in new media, I decided to take a hiatus from my professional commitments and completed a Master of Digital Media degree, setting the stage for a deeper academic exploration. I am currently pursuing a PhD focusing on the ethical and educational aspects of artificial intelligence and machine learning. I continue to be fascinated by the confluence of technology, ethics, and education, and I look forward to more challenging and fulfilling experiences in the future.
